, Axton, VA 24054 Monday - Friday Overview:
Gravely is seeking a Vehicle Dismantler to work at our facility.
The ideal candidate will dismantle vehicles and inspect the parts after dismantling for damage.
The candidate must also have general knowledge of vehicles, own basic tools, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Daily activities include:
Removing the following parts without supervision on a daily basis:
Transmissions, Engines, Front Suspensions, Cooling Systems, Rear Ends, and Body Parts Following PPE and Safety regulations while maintain work are clean, organized, and safe.
Requirements:
General knowledge of vehicles.
Technical vocation course of study or hands-on mechanical experience is a must Must have own tools:
Air tools (we provide compressor), Impacts, Wrenches, and Sockets Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to work outdoors for long periods of time.
Skills and Knowledge:
Strong attention to detail is required.
Dependable Mechanical experience We are committed to the safety of our employees so the ability to work safely is a must.
Basic computer knowledge
